MediaPro acquires a British film distribution company

MediaPro Management, owned by businessman Adrian Sarbu (90 percent of shares), has acquired 50.1 percent of the British Metrodome Group film distribution company from German TV Loonland group for some GBP 1.6 million (over €2 mln).

Following the transaction, the percentage owned by TV Loonland in Metrodome was evaluated at some GBP 2 mln (€2.5 mln). Metrodome is valuated at some GBP 3.2 mln.

The acquisition is part of MediaPro Management’s international expansion. “MediaPro plans to collaborate with Metrodome to continue distribution development in Great Britain,” says the Metrodome announcement.

The TV Looland public offer for the remaining 11.6 percent owned in Metrodome still stands for 21 days, after which these will either be available to acquisition by MediaPro Management at the public offer price or for sale to another buyer.
