Megaprofil estimates €70 million in turnover in 2008

"We ended 2007 with €53 million in turnover, over 40 percent more, compared to 2006. We are ready to invest €10 mln in 2008 to set up a new production line. We will continue to invest an annual €5 mln in the following years", told Business Standard Cyriel Beirnaert, South-East Europe Manager of Belgian group Joris Ide, owner of Megaprofil.

The company specializes in metallic structures, metallic tiles and roof accessories and other construction materials.

Megaprofil owns 14 production lines in and only operates with imported materials.

The company entered the local market in 2001. Large companies such as oil giant Rompetrol, car manufacturer Dacia Renault, soft drinks producer Coca-Cola and construction materials retailer Praktiker are among Megaprofil clients.

The local metallic tiles market amounted to €70 million in 2007.
