Merrill Lynch, one of the world’s largest investment banks, plans to enter the local energy trading market.  Merrill Lynch Commodities SRL was established in Bucharest at the end of November as part of Merrill Lynch Commodities London.

Petru Buzescu, legal adviser to Merrill Lynch Commodities Romania, told Business Standard that the first Romanian branch was opened for the energy market.
