Microsoft Romania has confirmed that General Manager Silviu Hotaran will step down at the end of August.
According to the press release, the selection of a new General Manager is under way and includes candidates from outside the company.
“I will stay close to the people I worked with and plan to open my own advisory company,” said Hotaran.
He opened the Romanian office of Microsoft in December 1996 with four partners. Hotaran was appointed General Manager of Microsoft South-East Europe in 2004, responsible for Microsoft development in ten countries in the region.
