Although the measures were subject to several deadlines, the last being at the end of July, some members of the government were still doing the math yesterday regarding the number of employees in agencies and the funds allocated for these, considering that the Prime Minister had requested them to have all calculations completed for yesterday’s meeting.
Thus, by the end of the first part of the government’s session yesterday, and by the time the print edition closed, government officials were unable to forward an exact figure of all employees in government agencies and funds allocated for their salaries, nor did they know the options for merging or dissolving various institutions.
