The company completed its logistics platform near the city of Targu Mures earlier this month, following a €28 million investment. The platform is intended for storage and furniture distribution to all the stores in the Mobexpert network.
Earlier this summer, Mobexpert announced a plan to relocate its four factories in Targu Mures outside the city, to a new logistics platform.
Mobexpert posted €150 million in turnover for 2006 and the company's President, Dan Sucu, estimated more than €170 mln worth of business by the end of 2007.
The local furniture market is estimated to be worth some €1 billion. (Delia Budurca)
