Mobexpert’s net sales up 28% in 2007

Mobexpert, local furniture market leader, posted 28 percent sales growth in 2007 year-on-year. Turnover reached €168 million, 12 percent more than in 2006. Franchise sales and real estate were not included in the company's turnover. For 2008 Mobexpert is targeting €185 mln in turnover, based on the market’s growth trend.

“Results in 2007 exceeded expectations. In terms of retail, this was a year in which we opened lines we will continue in 2008. These include the first Mobexpert hyperstore outside Romania, in Sofia, which marked our consolidation as a regional player. In the area of production we launched the project in Targu Mures, as a basis for increasing our production and turnover, planned until 2012,” said Dan Sucu, President of Mobexpert Group.
