“We are preparing for at least two years of in the same conditions. Changes are related to the cost of money, and when the price of money registers a downward trend worldwide, here it keeps rising. People who could have become our clients now have lower available revenues. These registered an unexpected increase when the flat tax was introduced and people took out loans which are now more expensive. When loan interests will drop to five percent in euro and six percent in lei, consumption will rebound,” Mobexpert’s founder and Chairman, Dan Sucu, told Business Standard.
The company posted a decline in financial results in the first quarter, in line with the general evolution of the market, Sucu said. The company official expects an 8-10 percent annual drop in sales in the second quarter
“We had an exceptional Q2 last year, even in normal conditions it would have been difficult to exceed last year’s sales. Especially since there is nothing going on to re-launch lending,” Sucu added.
