Moore Stephens Riff posts €1 mln in business for 2007

Higher service fees led to a shift to an elite clientele, while slowing the company’s growth rate.

“Last year’s results were considerably below the growth we had estimated, given the partnership with Moore Stephens. We were expecting 35-40 percent growth,” said Moore Stephens Riff Romania’s Managing Partner, Marius Stancescu.

The company’s fees match the quality standards of Moore Stephens services worldwide, he told Business Standard.

Stancescu said the company plans this year to expand with six new centers in franchise, to be named Riff Holding International, because the company cannot franchise the Moore Stephens brand.

Moore Stephens operates in 90 countries and has a total of 17,500 employees. In Romania, it has some 70 consultants working for Riff and a further two partner companies, Audit One and Soter.

Moore Stephens Riff Romania is part of Riff Holding, with operations in media, advertising, marketing and offset and digital printing.

Its main competitors are KPMG, Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst&Young, BDO Conti Audit, Mazars and Baker Tilly.
