More than 1,000 unionists gathered in Piata Revolutiei for the first meeting on Wednesday

Also, in Piata Victoriei gathered some 500 unionists around 11 a.m. to participate at the second meeting of the day, organized by the trade union CNSLR Fratia between 3 and 6 p.m.

The unionists said 20,000 people are expected at the protests on Wednesday.

More than 1,000 police officers and 350 agents from the road police will assure the public order and the protection of those participating at these protest meetings on Wednesday, according to the Bucharest Gendarmerie.
