ANIMMC officials noted a maximum of 400 companies will receive a chunk of the 40 million lei (12.3 million euros) budget allotted to the program. The list of the companies that enlisted for the program is posted on the ANIMMC web site.
ANIMMC councilor Peter Barta said in the next 30 days the data submitted by the selected companies will be verified. If erroneous data is found, the guilty company will be kicked out of the program. The financial aid is non-redeemable and cannot exceed 10,000 euros for newly-established enterprises. The sums given to already existing SMEs cannot exceed 50,000 euros.
The beneficiaries must come up with 15 percent of overall funds needed for the investment. The money can only go towards the acquisition of equipment and means of transportation for commodities.
