Main discontents of local employees are related to the way salary changes are decided upon, career opportunities, and the way employers appreciate contributions and achievements on the job.
“The degree of engagement is directly impacting on business results, and employees can become more involved if their discontents are solved,” said Monica Carligea, Consultant for Monday Insight Consulting and Project Manager of Best Employers Romania.
Over 60 percent of managers said that their company provides development opportunities for employees, compared to 44 percent employees who consider this to be true.
The Best Employers survey is part of a study including twelve Central and Eastern European countries, 12,800 employees, 400 managers, and 50 companies.
The methodology includes three aspects of research: the employee engagement survey, the leadership team survey, and the human resource audit questionnaire.
