MyAir sales for Romania exceeded €40 mln in the first eight months
“We had 400,000 passengers and a 90 percent occupancy rate. In this same period, the average cost of a ticket was €100-130, all taxes included,” according to a declaration for Business Standard by Alina Rus, the airline’s Sales Manager.

In order to attract an even larger number of passengers next year, the airline could introduce flights from Romania to destinations in other countries, in addition to Italy and France, added Rus.

MyAir is also looking into the possibility of introducing new domestic flights. Company officials announced that they will initiate flights from Timisoara to Venice and Milan this fall.

Other low-cost airlines present on the Romanian market are Blue Air (Romania), SkyEurope (Slovakia), Wizz Air (Hungary), Germanwings (Germany), easyJet (United Kingdom) and Ryanair (Ireland).
