NASA backs up data with software created in Cluj

The company, specialized in backup and continuity software, has development subsidiaries in the UK and Cluj, Romania, while its sales and live support office is in the US, owing to the fact that most of the company’s clients are on American territory.

“Neverfail Scope is one of the software programs produced 100 percent in Romania. We also develop 90-95 percent of Neverfail Application Modules and Neverfail Application Module eXtensions. Other products, such as Neverfail Heartbeat, Neverfail Low Bandwidth, and Neverfail Data Rollback Module are jointly developed by the offices in Cluj and Stirling,” Technical Support Manager Radu Miclaus told Business Standard.

Neverfail is a private unlisted company that provides high availability, disaster recovery and continuous data protection software and support. The company does not sell its products on the Romanian market, the subsidiary in Cluj having an exclusive offshore role. Aside from Neverfail, Cluj hosts 20-30 offshores and companies outsourcing more than 50 percent of their total activity.
