National railway company has debts of €250 million

“The financial situations of the group’s companies are affected by CFR debts,” CEZ officials said.

Italian group Enel is expecting a payment of RON 300 mln (€83.3 mln) from CFR. According to company representatives, CFR debts exceed the annual value of Enel investments.

State-owned electricity distributor Electrica is also expecting a RON 300 mln (€83.3 mln) payment, but company representatives say CFR debts will not affect Electrica’s financial situatio. The only distributor that did not comment on CFR debts was E.ON Moldova, that expects a RON 76 million (€21 mln) payment.
