“The fund’s strategy has not changed because of the crisis, on the contrary, we now have new opportunities for acquisitions at low prices. There are few buyers on the market and those with financial problems want to sell,” Semionov said.

The company official added that investment yields surged. Thus, if six months ago a property was sold at a seven percent yield, now this has increased to 10 percent.

The fund is operating on the Romanian and German markets, but company representatives are also considering other markets in Western Europe, which provide much better yields, even compared to Romania, an emerging market.
