New General Manager for Vel Pitar

Vel Pitar’s Vice President, Dan Trifu, resigned at the end of last year, becoming Vice President of the Grivco Group, controlled by the Voiculescu family.

The domestic baked goods and milling market is estimated to be worth €2 billion. Main competitors are Vel Pitar, Boromir, Dobrogea, Titan and Pambac.

Vel Pitar took over the baked goods activities when the Vel Pitar Group separated its baked goods, milling and sales activities last March. Following this division, the Sapte Spice company took over milling, Vel Pitar baked goods, while VP Magassin administers the company’s stores.
