Gabor Bekyfy has been appointed Manager of Coca-Cola operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Republic of Moldova, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Macedonia, all of which are coordinated from Bucharest.
Bekyfy replaces Nikos Koumettis. The local soft drink market, which includes mineral water, is worth some €1 billion, or 3 billion liters, according to company data. Main competitors are Coca-Cola, Pepsi Co, European Drinks, Romaqua and Parmalat.
