Militescu is specialized in internal medicine and cardiology, and has been working in the private medical sector for 13 years. For the past eight years she served as Medical Manager of the Medicover clinics network.
Militescu will manage and help improve services provided by CMU clinics and coordinate the medical staff.
The appointment “is a new challenge in my career and an opportunity to work with a successful and dynamic team. The challenge is even greater, given that I will be working in a solid company, well positioned on the market, which is experiencing unprecedented growth and is subject to an expansion process, both in Bucharest and around the country,” Militescu added.
CMU was founded in 1995 by cardiologist Wargha Enayati. As of early 2007, the British 3i Plc investment fund is minority shareholder. CMU has eight clinics in Bucharest and collaborates with more than 100 clinics throughout Romania. The network has in excess of 65,000 clients.
