New Sales Manager at Cosmote

Nickolaos Choumis was appointed Sales and Customer Care Manager at Cosmote Romania, replacing Vassilios Trochalidis, whose three-year term in the company has ended.

As Sales and Customer Care Manager, Choumis will coordinate a team of some 500 specialists. He joined OTE Group in January 2007 as Data Services Sales Manager for OTEGlobe. Choumis has over 15 years experience in telecommunications, having held management positions in companies in Greece, such as Q-Telecom, Vodafone, Unifon and CosmoLine.

Trochalidis has been part, as far back as December 2005, of the management team of Cosmote Romania, subsidiary of Greece’s main mobile telephone operator, Cosmote Group, part of OTE Group, majority shareholder of Romtelecom, the national landline phone operator.
