Nokia doubles number of employees in Romania in light of plant opening in February

The new plant, built within the Tetarom III industrial park, will employ 1,000 people by the end of the year. So far, some 100 people have been recruited, Don said.

The plant's opening day is scheduled for the beginning of February, an exact date is not certain yet, the park manager, Viorel Gavrea said.

Nokia's investment with the plant in Jucu was estimated at 200 million euros.
