Oltchim will give preference right to all registered shareholders by August 12. Shareholders will be able to subscribe proportionally to their quotas at that time. Those who do not want to subscribe will be able to sell their preference rights on the stock exchange.
Oltchim requested a capital increase at the end of 2007, but the Authority for State Assets Recovery, which owns 53 percent of Oltchim, decided to postpone the operation at the request of German group PCC, the main minority shareholder.
