Mobile phone operator Orange Romania is to open a training center within the Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology College in Bucharest, according to a company press release. The center will be called Orange Education Program.
“With this training center, we aim to be involved in the training of students, of engineers to be. It is important for students to have access to the newest technologies and to interact with telecom specialists,” according to the release. The total investment in the Orange Education Program exceeds €500,000. The telecom operator plans to expand the programs to other universities.
The training center provides students access to a library, a conference hall where Orange specialists will hold classes, and a lab for testing and studying telecom equipment. (NewsIn)
