Of the top ten companies which invested in advertising, seven registered drops, while GlaxoSmithKline Europharm pharmaceutical company, and Cosmote and Orange mobile phone operators are those that raises their expenses on this segment.
Procter&Gamble registered a 47 percent decline in gross investments in advertising, down to €70.4 million, which takes the company off the first place it had occupied since 2006.
The highest increase in investment in advertising was registered by GlaxoSmithKline, which raised its advertising budget 153 percent and spent €47.96 million. Another significant increase was posted by Cosmote, which invested 74 percent more in advertisign in the first six months of 2009, namely €72.02 mln.
