However, there were changes in the ranking of top companies investing in this field, with three FMCG players, Henkel, Johnson Wax and Beiersdorf Romania exited the top 10, and telecom operators Orange Romania (€26.8 million) and Vodafone Romania (€21.3 million) joining the top 10 by increasing their promotion budgets. Soft drinks producer Coca-Cola also became one of the top advertisers, with a budget worth €20.7 million.

Consumer goods producer Unilever ranks second, with €49.6 million in advertising expenditures, 52 percent higher year-on-year. Cosmetics producer L’Oreal Romania dropped one place compared to last year, currently third, with €44.3 million in advertising.

Most advertising budgets were used for TV ads.
