Brokers are viewing the coming week with moderate optimism, as they consider both a drop in bad economic news and the inevitable profit investors will obtain.
“Until recently, we could talk only about bad news, but the situation is now reversed, and the atmosphere, both here and abroad, is positive. The premises remain good for next week and, even if growth abroad will temper, BVB could still gain, because we dropped even further than foreign stock exchanges,” said Iulian Panait, President of KTD Invest.
The financial investment companies (SIF) rose 18.5 percent, on average, at the beginning of March, while the market’s BET-C general index appreciated 9.4 percent. “However, we must keep our feet firmly on the ground and be aware of the fact that for the SIFs, for instance, the powerful gains in only a few sessions will be inevitably followed by profit. Investors are already tempted and are already marking 10 percent, especially since most had already risked and anticipated a positive response from MEF [Ministry of Finance] taking positions on the market in this sense,” added Panait.
