"We are experiencing a period of high volatility, with daily trend changes. Sudden changes in the trend could continue," said Iulian Panait, President of the KTD Invest investment consultancy company.
The SIF index rose by 0.59 percent yesterday, even though the quotations of SIFs registered drops during the session compared to the previous session. The most significant drop was registered by the BET index, of the ten most liquid companies, which fell by 2.43 percent, due to losses registered by oil companies.
Shares of Petrom, Romania's largest oil and gas company, registered a 2.63 percent drop yesterday, on the back of €1.31 mln worth of transactions. The shares of Romania’s second-largest oil company, Rompetrol Rafinare, fell 1.84 percent, to RON 0.0962/unit (some €0.0268/unit).
