“Digital photo cameras generate some 8.5 percent of the company’s turnover. We plan that these products reach 11 percent of sales,” said Marketing Product Specialist Diana Iuliana Poama.
She added that digital photo cameras sales will reach almost 75 percent of deliveries in H1 in the last three months of 2008. “The highest sales will be in November and December,” Gheorghiu added.
In the first six months of 2008, digital photo cameras sales advanced by 280 percent in volume and video cameras sales increased by 196 percent. The Full HD video cameras segment increased by 220 percent.
Panasonic Romania sales increased by 48 percent in value in H1. Sales are estimated at €70 million for the current financial year, 16 percent higher on H1 2008.
