Parties preparing for European parliamentary elections

Former Ministers of Finance and External Affairs, Daniel Daianu (current Euro Parliamentarian) and Adrian Cioroianu are missing from PNL’s list, with Liberal leader Crin Antonescu explaining that Daianu’s political and economic views are too fundamentally different from those of the party. According to Antonescu, PNL could support Daiana to head the National Bank of Romania (BNR), indicating that in that position he will not represent the party, and could best use all of his qualifications.
