Patriciu cashed in $1.3 mln from Rompetrol sale

The price of the entire stock purchased by KMG was €1.6 billion, according to the group's financial report.

Last year, Rompetrol Holding Switzerland, of which Particiu owns 80 percent and U.S. businessman Philip Stephenson owns the remainder 20 percent, sold 75 percent of Rompetrol Group Netherlands to KMG. The sale was made proportionally with both shareholders' participation.

Last year, the deal value was evaluated at &2.7 billion, given Rompetrol was evaluated at €3.6 billion.
