Patriciu added that, regardless of the situation on the market, neither Rompetrol, nor the Petrom oil and gas producer will stop fuel production, because Romania needs at least two operational refineries to meet demand.
Rompetrol has entered a restructuring program which includes the laying off of 1,500 employees and the sale of non-core assets.
