“Notebooks make up the share in sales, followed by LCD monitors, graphics cards, and microprocessors. We also expect a significant rise in the software area,” the company’s CEO, Gabriel Vasile, told Business Standard.
According to company representatives, PC Garage will invest some €1 mln this year in development and relocation.
PC Garage currently claims a 10 percent market share, and is expecting sales worth €18 million for the whole of 2008, some 200 percent higher year-on-year.
E-commerce is estimated to double in Romania this year, up to €250 million in sales, and to reach the €1 billion threshold by 2010, according to players in the field.
