The Transportation Ministry is organizing a tender to lease the land where gas stations will be built along the highway, from Bucharest to the city of Cernavoda, for which the winner will pay €53 mln.
Sources within the ministry told Business Standard that major oil companies Rompetrol Downstream, Austrian group OMV with local producer Petrom, and multinational company Agip have filed bids for this tender, whose deadline was yesterday. The Romanian subsidiary of MOL group and local company Speed also submitted letters of intent.
