Petrom willing to offer an annual €80 mln to acquire energy

Petrom is trying to obtain the best electricity price for its oil rigs and refineries, as the price continues to increase.

The Energy Stock price for electricity is €48 per megawatt. Petrom will organize an auction to select a company to deliver 1.15 TWh annually to its exploation and production divisions. The acquisition contract will last two years and offers can be made until January 28.

According to sources, the contract between Petrom and current energy supplier, Energy Holding, is worth €90 million a year.
