Piraeus Bank Romania's profit seven times higher year-on-year

All the bank's business lines - corporate, small and medium enterprises (SME) and retail registered significant growth. The increase in loans granted and assets was twice as much as the market, according to Piraeus Bank Group Romania's President and CEO, Stavros Lekkakos. 

The bank's assets exceeded €3 billion by the end of March, 190 percent higher year-on-year. The volume of loans exceeded €2.7 billion, up 187 percent on March 2007. (NewsIn)
