Prodlacta profit up 22 times year-on-year

Dairy producer Prodlacta, based in the central city of Brasov, posted RON 1.35 million (€366.092), some 22 times higher year-on-year, while business rose 26.5 percent, according to a release sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB)’s electronic Rasdaq market, where the company is listed.

Turnover amounted to €4.23 million in Q1, compared to €3.36 million in the first three months of 2007.

The dairy producer’s share capital amounts to RON 14.45 million (€3.94 mln) in 10.62 million shares. It’s main shareholders are Prodlacta - Pas company, with 48.8 percent of the shares, and the State Assets Authority (AVAS), with 4.32 percent. (NewsIn)
