Raiffeisen Bank Romania debit cards cannot be used July 28, 29

Debit cards issued by Raiffeisen Bank Romania cannot be used on the night of July 28 to 29 as the bank will upgrade the software system in its ATM network, a bank release reads. Credit cards can be used at this time. Debit cards cannot be used starting from midnight until 5:00 a.m.

Raiffeisen Bank Romania operates 851 ATMs and 6,776 points of sale. Raiffeisen Bank owned assets totaling 13.8 billion lei (4 billion euros) at the end of 2006 and controlled 8.03 percent of the Romanian banking market, according to data provided by the Central Bank of Romania.
