Raiffeisen Bank Romania sees 9.8 percent hike in assets in the first nine months y/y

The lender's assets reached 5.097 billion euros, compared to 4.087 billion euros at the end of 2006. the bank secured the fifth position among lenders, by assets.

Raiffeisen Romania had a 382-unit network at the end of September and 5,506 employees, Raiffeisen International financial report shows.

Raiffeisen International owns 17 bank units as well as a leasing division with activities in the same field. The bank reached 67.5 billion euros assets in this year's first nine months, 20.8 percent more than the previous year.

Raiffeisen International saw 625.7 million euros profit, 43.1 percent hike versus the same period in 2006.
