Ramada Parc to make up 60% of Ramada Convention Center business

“Integrating Parc hotel under the Ramada brand is a strategic addition to launching Ramada Plaza hotel. The rebranding process will be finalized by the end of the year. As of January 1, 2009, we will provide improved services and facilities, at the same price,” the General Manager of both hotels, Daniel Ben Yehuda, said.

Ramada complex is expected to register some €14 million this year. “Ramada Parc will make up some 60 percent of this sum. The hotel will remain open all the time. As it is better known than Ramada Plaza, it is more requested by our clients,” he added.

For 2009, Ben Yehuda estimates a 10 percent increase in business. As for the occupancy ratio, it is foreseen to exceed 70 percent for Ramada Parc in 2009 and to reach 55 percent for Ramada Plaza.

Ramada Convention Center, to be officially inaugurated in 2009, includes Ramada Parc and Ramada Plaza hotels, a conference center with 1,500 seats and a health center. The investment in Parc hotel rebranding will amount to €10 million.

On the four-star hotels segment, Ramada’s main competitors locally are Golden Tulip, Continental Forum, and Best Western.
