Real estate developer Anchor Grup to spend EUR 50m for an office building in Western Bucharest

The office building will be located near the commercial center Plaza Romania and will stretch over 55,000 square meters. It will be 12-storey high and will have 33,600 square meters to be rented, plus several parking places. It will be ready in the second half of 2009.

Anchor Grup was set up in 1997 and is specialized in developing real estate projects. It spent 340 million euros on the local market since the beginning of its activity.

Anchor Grup is part of the Turkish-based group Fiba, active in the financial, retail and real estate areas. The company constructed Plaza Romania and Bucharest malls together with Anchor Plaza and InCity Residences and plans to develop two other residential projects.
