Realitatea TV reports a mere 5.43% of voters cast their ballot in the referendum by 11:00 a.m.

Some 5.43 percent of eligible voters cast their ballot in the referendum, with 4.56 percent in cities and 6.63 percent in rural areas.  The highest participation was registered in Tulcea, 8.01 percent, Vaslui 7.57 percent, Covasna 7.38 percent, and Botosani 7.20 percent, while lowest turnout was in Bucharest 4.11 percent, Ilfov 4.15 percent, Prahova 4.38 percent, and Maramures 4.53 percent.  (Realitatea TV)
