Record day for Transgaz: 153% subscriptions

Transgaz is selling 10 percent of its increased social capital, which is due to be traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Total subscriptions were worth €99.1 million, of which €48.8 mln were committed to by major investors. The share for major investitors was oversubscribed by 26 percent.

There was also a doubling of oversubscription by minor investors, as they were limited to acquiring up to half a million lei worth (€143,000). The total subscription of the share for small investors is worth €50.2 mln. Some 40 percent of the 1,177 shares are part of an offer reserved for minor investors at RON 191.92/share.

Investors who have subscribed to Transgaz shares include mutual funds, and administrators of three of these have announced that they have subscribed for shares worth some €1 million. Other funds will acquire minor investor shares.
