Companies with the most serious exposure to the crisis are those which expanded nationwide in recent years, according to the Managing Partner of AIMS Human Capital recruiting company, Mihaela Perianu. Others who will halt recruitment in the coming period will be small companies or local subsidiaries that depend on clients provided by the international networks. “HR company layoffs have already started, with the percentage of those let go in some of these at 40 percent,” Perianu said.
Other players in the field say the recruitment market will be reshuffled. “Recruitment service providers will lay off people with no experience or who are performing poorly, and these in turn will be employed in company HR departments, where they are needed,” said Royalty Jobs International Managing Director, Isabella Berghoffer.
