Relaunches and inserts increased Romanian newspaper sales
According to data provided by the Romanian Circulation Audit Office (BRAT), Libertatea newspaper was leader for sales in July-September 2007, with 255,698 copies.

The sales of Intact group’s Jurnalul National increased 7 percent, to 72,264 copies. Marius Tudosiei, Intact’s Marketing Director, believes that inserts and promotion campaigns contributed to the newspaper’s good evolution.

ProSport had an average circulation of 72,049 copies, while Intact-owned Gazeta Sporturilor sold 71,585 copies per edition.

Evenimentul Zilei dropped 14 percent, to 56,543 copies per edition.

The Click! tabloid, owned by businessman Dinu Patriciu, sold 51,600 copies per editon, while his daily Adevarul, relaunched in April, had a lower increase in sales.
