Revenues in the Romanian industry rise 11.2% year-on-year in 2007

Yet, an overall 5.3 percent decline was registered month-on-month in December 2007. The decrease came after revenues in the processing industry plunged 9.4 percent and the ones in the extractive industry fell 3.7 percent, in December 2007.

Revenues in the intermediary goods industry plummeted 18.6 percent in December against November. A similar move was seen in the current use goods industry which recorded a 16.2 percent fall.

The increase seen in 2007 for the revenues in the industry relies on the 13.5 percent growth of the processing industry. Revenues in the power industry dipped 1.2 percent, year-on-year in 2007.
