A&D Pharma reduced its Board of Directors from 13 to 6, naming one of its four founders, Walid Abboud, as Chairman of the Board. “We believe that these changes will help the company to be more flexible in terms of rapid evolutions of the economy and to retain its entrepreneurial spirit which helped build its success,” said Abboud.

A&D Pharma is the largest drug distributor in Romania. The company was founded in the 1990s and posted turnover worth €254.12 million in the first half of 2008, 28 percent higher year-on-year, while the profit dropped by 92 percent, to €1 million.
