Romania is last but one in Europe regarding unemployed younger than 25, Euostat shows

Greece saw a 22.9 percent unemployment rate for the mentioned category while France ranked third, with a 19.3 percent rate. The Netherlands has the lowest percentage of unemployed who are not yet 25 years old, with a total of 5.2 percent.

The country was followed by Denmark (8.3 percent) and Austria, with the same percentage. Romania saw a 7.2 percent unemployment rate in September, the country ranking 10th amongst the other EU members, a release by the European Commission reads.

Romania’s National Agency for Labor Force Occupancy said the unemployment rate stood at 3.9 percent in September. Young people under the age of 25 are the most reticent when it comes to working, as the jobless percent stood at 19.6 percent against and EU average of 15.1 percent.
