“We sold 41 units [Ed. n. globally] by the end of 2008, compared to 22 in 2007, which led to an 86 percent rise in business,” Costache said.
Company officials said that this is not yet the right time to forward financial estimates for 2009, but that they are optimistic about the enterprise’s activity on the local market. According to Costache, the only difference generated by the current economic context is the delay of the decision to buy. “But people interested in our brand continue to come to our showroom for additional information and test-drives.”
