Romania's Altur Slatina ups share capital by 14.3%, to EUR 22.5m

The company's share capital stands at 72.13 million lei and will reach 82.44 million lei (22.5 million euros). Altur will release 103.048 million shares with a face value of 0.10 lei.

Altur posted 573,592 lei net profit last year, despite significant losses in the previous one, according to results issued for the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company posted 4 million lei losses in 2006. Its revenues stood at 97.5 million lei in 2007, close to the 97.37 million lei posted in 2006.

Altur's spendings increased 2 percent last year against the previous, from 102.64 million lei to 104.68 million lei. Its debts dropped 10 percent in 2007, from 29.73 million lei to 26.79 million lei.

The company increased its share capital at the beginning of the month, from 53.73 million lei to 72.13 million lei. Mecanica Rotes remains the company’s main shareholder, with 28.15 percent of the shares.

Altur has a capitalization of 51.2 million lei at a trading value of 0.0710 lei established on February 18.
