The deficit target of 2.8 percent of GDP will be met, as there will be a 700 million lei spending cut in the unemployment fund, according to the project. The project also shows budget revenues will increase by 1.8 billion lei as there has been a better-than-expected increase in collection rates.
State spending will amount to 3.15 billion lei. The largest amount will go to the Ministry of Labor, which will receive some 1.4 billion lei for social aid, heating subsidies and agricultural pensions.
The Ministry for Home Affairs will receive some 865 million lei, the Ministry of Economy and Finance will get some extra 525 million lei and the Ministry of Transportation will receive 386 million lei.
